Subud Barnet Centre Halls for Hire The building has been owned for many years by Subud Britain, a registered charity, and is used principally a place of worship. It is also hired out for a wide variety of activities, important as a community resource, and to defray the cost of maintenance and improvements. Halls for Hire for Regular User (we do not do parties). Our property is available for the following type of hiring: - SUITABLE FOR ALL TYPES OF EVENTS, CORPORATE AND COMMUNITY GROUP MEETINGS AND ACTIVITIES. • Business meetings; • Counselling sessions; • Drama, Acting, Theatre sessions; • Fitness, gym; • Group training sessions; • Personal training; • Rehearsals; • Seminars; • Training, education, exams, test centre; • Workshop; (We do not do parties) Facilities: Meeting Venue with Facilities for Disabled and Vulnerable. The building is ideal for special needs and all vulnerable users; we have installed modern disabled toilet facilities, disabled access, hearing loop and Wi-Fi. It includes a stage and an up-to the –minute themed lighting system to enhance the atmosphere you wish to create. We have two main halls plus ancillary meetings rooms and other facilities. • There is a large hall with a beautiful arched roof which seats up to 200 people. Ideal for various functions; the hall contain a stage and a great piano; • DMX-controlled theatre and general lighting was installed, programmed for up to 36 scenes to meet the needs of the various users and provide colour rendering changes and stage lighting; • There is an upstairs smaller hall available for smaller classes and Activities such as bridge clubs etc.(about 10-15people); • There is a smaller meeting room with a calm ambience for meetings of approximately fifteen people; • There is a new kitchen for food preparation with opening Hatch to main hall (no oven/hob) with microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and sink; • Table and chairs available upon request; • Wi-Fi; • Fire Alarm, emergency lighting; • CCTV (internally and externally) and security. There is also a convenient car park adjacent to our hall. Prices: • £28 per hour for our big hall • £15 per hour for our small hall or meeting room. Your booking time must include your time for set-up and clearing-out. You will be asked to book in advance and provide a deposit (given back to you at the end of your hiring period). Limitations: • No parties. • Strictly No Alcohol. • No smoking. • We do not provided any speaker/PA system (bring your own if required).
